Alkyne Reactions

In this problem we shall consider three alkyne reactants:

ethyne (acetylene)	1-butyne	2-butyne

These compounds may be reacted with nine different reagents:

Hydrogen & Lindlar catalyst	Hydrogen & Pt catalyst	H₃O⁽⁺⁾ & HgSO₄
Hydrogen Chloride (1 equivalent)	Sodium in liq. Ammonia	Bromine (2 equivalents)
(i) Disiamylborane, R₂BH (ii) H₂O₂ in NaOH soln.	Hydrogen Chloride (2 equivalents)	(i) Sodium Amide (1 equivalent) (ii) Ethyl bromide

Select one alkyne from the first group, and one reagent from the second group.
